Bogus Basin Forest Health Project

This project would manage forest structure and species composition to improve the resiliency of the forest landscape and recover from uncharacteristic insect and disease disturbance and remove hazard trees on about 2,800 acres of NFS lands. The Forest Service is requesting scoping comments on this project. To be most helpful, please provide comments by 4/11/2016 and make comments as specific as possible. A public meeting to share information about this project will be held at the Senior Center at 690 Robbins Road in Boise, ID from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on March 16, 2016.

Location Summary

This project is located on about 3,700 acres of NFS lands within the Bogus Basin Mountain Resort approximately 15 miles of Boise, Idaho.
