Cloud Peak Wilderness Required Registration

All visitors entering the Cloud Peak Wilderness are required to complete and submit a registration form.

This required registration serves two purposes: 1.) It ensures that visitors are informed of the special regulations in place to assist in protection of the wilderness resource, and 2.) visitation numbers are important considerations for funding the management of the Cloud Peak Wilderness.

If you have any questions, please contact your nearest Bighorn National Forest office located in Buffalo, Greybull, or Sheridan. Thank you.

Instructions:

  1. Complete the required registration form.
  2. Print out two copies.
  3. Keep one copy in your possession when visiting the Cloud Peak Wilderness.
  4. Mail one copy of the front page to the Powder River Ranger District, 1415 Fort Street, Buffalo, WY 82834, OR, Drop off a copy of the front page in one of the Cloud Peak Wilderness registration boxes located outside each ranger district office.
