Methow Valley Ranger District, Campgrounds

Methow Valley RD Conditions Home | Roads | Trails

When campgrounds are accessible and being serviced, Methow Valley Ranger District Campgrounds are available on a first come first served basis only. Sites must be occupied and cannot be saved or reserved, even with advanced payment. Any unoccupied sites without someone actually staying there must be available for the next camper. 2 vehicles per site maximum (posted fee per night for first vehicle, plus an additional $5.00 per night for the second vehicle). 2 tents or 1 RV and 1 tent per site maximum. Fees for camping must be paid within 1/2 hour. "Check-out" time is noon.

Some of our campgrounds have potable water but the water system may not be working so it is a good idea to bring drinking water in case the system is down.

Seasonal potable water systems are usually turned off in the campgrounds from September through May so bring drinking water. Please pack out your garbage. Campground fees apply when the fee signs are posted. Forest Service roads are not plowed in the winter months so campgrounds are not maintained.

Some campsites may be marked with red flagging and will be closed until hazard trees are removed.
