RAIL TIMBER SALE DOCUMENTS

Sample Contract 10/30/2023 Notice of a typographical error in the Rail timber sale advertisement, published October 16, 2023. Contract provision CT2.35# states a minimum stump diameter of 6.0 inches in error. The cruise and contract volume was determined using a minimum stumpdiameter of 5.5 inches. Provision CT2.35# of Rail Contract 2400-6T minimum diameter stump has been corrected to 5.5 inches in the sample contract.
Sale Area Map Vicinity Map Bid Form Prospectus Bid Envelope Example Appraisal Cruise Unit Volume and Strata Summary Cruise volume is uploaded into the timber contracting program which rounds volumes by contract species and units. There are slight volume variations in sale and unit totals between cruise reports and the contract volume summary due to program rounding. Appraisals and contract reflect the timber contract program volume summary.

SQUIRREL DECKS TIMBER SALE ADVERTISEMENT

November 1, 2023 a sealed, public bid opening for Squirrel Decks Timber Sale. The CO has determined the results are as follows:

Squirrel Decks Timber Sale – the minimum acceptable weighted average bid rate was $0.25 for an estimated volume of 1,016 CCF of Grn Bio CV – All Species. There was one sealed bid received from: Dean Commercial submitted a weighted average bid of $2.59 per CCF and has been declared the apparent high bidder.

On August 2, 2023, a sealed, public bid opening was held for Dog River Decks Timber Sale. The CO has determined the results are as follows:

The minimum acceptable weighted average bid rate was $37.88 for an estimated volume of 322 CCF of All Species of Sawtimber and 188 CCF of All Species of Grn Bio CV material. There was one sealed bid received from O’Malley Brothers Corporation who submitted a weighted average bid of $71.50 per CCF. O’Malley Brothers Corporation was declared the apparent high bidder.
