Family Fishing at Martin Lake, Idaho

The Boise National Forest has an abundant supply of fishing opportunities. Trout are a native species to most all of the rivers, streams and lakes.

Major rivers that run through the Forest with great fishing include the the North, Middle and South Forks of the Payette River; the North, Middle and South Forks of the Boise River and the South Fork Salmon River.  The Boise River in Boise is also a good choice for rainbow trout stocked all year between Barber Park and the Glenwood Bridge.
